What does “having it all” mean to you? Is it attainable?
Every day WordPress, The platform I am so grateful for, has these blogging prompts/questions. I HAVE normally ignored these prompts because they aren’t always fitting with the theme of what God lays on my heart.
Today I could not.
Is having it all attainable? Yes.
What is having it all?
I want to answer that by sharing about someone who had it all and has it all still to this day.
Someone whose name is ABOVE every other name. Has everything you could possibly have.
Paul said it like this:
“Have this attitude in yourselves, which also was in Messiah Yeshua, Who, though existing in the form of God, did not consider being equal to God a thing to be grasped. But He emptied Himself— taking on the form of a slave, becoming the likeness of men and being found in appearance as a man. He humbled Himself— becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason God highly exalted Him and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Yeshua every knee should bow, in heaven and on the earth and under the earth, and every tongue profess that Yeshua the Messiah is Lord— to the glory of God the Father.”
Philippians 2:5-11 TLV
Having it all…. Means having relationship with the Father and the Son according to John 17:3
Jesus… Lord of Lord. King of Kings… doesn’t consider status or even power as something to grasp and seek after… instead he gave all that up to come after you… dying a gruesome death in the process… but rising again.
I have it all because I have him… I will have it all because when he returns, with him comes my inheritance and full adoption into the household of God.
