Write about your first crush.

For obvious reasons I will not be using names. I’m not really sure WHO my first crush was. I think I identified someone in the third grade with that… though I wonder if it was the second grade. Regardless…. One of the interesting things about most of my crushes across times is they contain some very identifiable similarity with my wife.

Listing common characteristics by grade crush

Grade 2- Nerdy best friend

Grade 3- Strong personality

Grade 4- Smartest girl in class

Grade 5- Smart new girl obsessed with words

Grade 6,7,8- Back to the smartest girl in class…

By High School I met Jesus so usually what attracted me was they loved Jesus… after that a lot was happening…

A girl in college loved Country Music… just like my wife.

The girl I dated once the year after college was an editor just like my wife.

One of those gals along the way told me “I think it’s going to take a real special girl for you”

They were right. I think there is only one person in the universe like my wife…In every way anyway… and I’ve been looking for her for a while.
